Every single piece at Bubble & Bond is meticulously mixed, hand-poured, and cured by Zoe in Kent. Because our homeware is crafted from high-quality bonded resin, it requires a little bit of specialized love and attention to keep its high-gloss, vibrant finish looking flawless for years to come.

Follow these simple care guidelines to protect your unique functional art:

☕ Heat Guidelines

  • Perfect for Mugs: Our resin is fully cured to easily withstand standard hot coffee cups, tea mugs, and glasses (up to 90°C).
  • Avoid Extreme Heat: Never place boiling pots, pans, or cookware straight from the cooker or oven directly onto the resin surface.

🧼 Cleaning & Washing

  • Hand Wash Only: Gently wipe your items clean using warm, soapy water and a soft microfibre cloth.
  • No Dishwashers: Never place your resin homeware inside a dishwasher or submerge it completely under water for long periods.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive scrubbing sponges, bleach, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch or dull the glossy surface.

☀️ Sun & Storage

  • Keep Out of Direct Sunlight: While we use high-quality materials, long-term exposure to intense, direct UV sunlight can cause resin to yellow or discolor over time. Keep your pieces styled indoors away from harsh window sun rays.
  • Keep Flat: Resin can subtly soften if exposed to high ambient room temperatures. Always store your coasters and trays flat to maintain their perfectly level shape.
